The Land and Machine department is seeking seasonal reinforcement starting in the spring of 2026. With us, you will be an important part of the work to maintain Malmö's outdoor environment – parks, streets, squares, beaches, and areas around public buildings. We are looking for someone who wants to work as a machine operator within Malmö city.

Job Responsibilities

The work is varied and may include:

• Weed brushing
• Hot water and gas burning
• Watering
• Driving a compactor truck

The position involves working two shifts from Monday to Friday. Weekend work is included when operating the compactor truck.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with practical experience of machinery, such as tractors, tool carriers, or similar vehicles. You have a manual B driver's license and basic knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You can understand and follow both verbal and written instructions. You also have basic technical understanding, as the job involves using an iPad for documentation and work orders.

Desirable Skills

• Education in Green Maintenance
• Work on Roads (APV)
• Ability to reverse with a trailer
• C driver's license

Personal Qualities

You are self-driven and take the initiative to complete the work safely and accurately. At the same time, you will be part of a larger team, which means you need to have a positive attitude and good collaboration skills.

Driving Test

Before further discussions regarding employment, you will need to complete a driving test to ensure that you meet the basic requirements.
